Ann Miller was born on the 12^th of April and was a singer, dancer and actress born in Chireno, Texas and raised in Houston. She was born Johnnie Lucille Ann Collier because her father wanted a boy but was called Ann. She started her career as a dancer at age 13 by lying and saying she was really 18. She had roles in some of the most famous production in film and on Broadway including Sugar Babies, Anne of Green Gables, You can’t Take it with You, Kiss Me Kate and Mulholland Dr. Her career spanned nearly seventy years before she died in 2004 from cancer.
